Byron McIntosh Recognized at Union College's Honors Day Convocation

Byron Alexander McIntosh of London was recently recognized at Union College's annual Honors Day Convocation.

McIntosh won the Sampson Political Science Award, given to the junior showing the highest academic excellence in the field of politcal science. The award was presented to McIntosh by Dr. Hugo Freund. It is given in honor of Flem D. Sampson, who served as the Governor of Kentucky form 1927-1931.

McIntosh was one of only 30 Union students to receive an award at this year's ceremony. The ceremony for the Honors Day Convocation took place at the Conway Boatman Chapel on Union campus Thursday, April 18 at 9:30 a.m.
