Cassy Kost Recognized at Union College's Honors Day Convocation

Cassy Christian Kost of Owesnboro was recently recognized at Union College's annual Honors Day Convocation.

Kost won the Beverly P. and Mossie B. Wilson Memorial Award given to the English major with the highest cumulative grade point average who has completed three full years of residence at Union College. Kost was also the recipient of the the Literature Award given to the English major who shows the greatest excellence in the field of literature. The awards wer presented to Kost by Dr. Jimmy Dean Smith and Dr. Constance Danner, respectively.

Kost was one of only 30 Union students to receive an award at this year's ceremony. The ceremony for the Honors Day Convocation took place at the Conway Boatman Chapel on Union campus Thursday, April 18 at 9:30 a.m.
