Charles Hunnicutt Recognized at Union College's Honors Day Convocation

Charles Edward Hunnicutt of Barbourville was recently recognized at Union College's annual Honors Day Convocation.

Hunnicutt won the Blackwell Political Science Award given to the senior with a major in history and/or a minor in political science who shows the highest academic excellence in political science. Hunnicutt was also the recipient of the Rev. Charles Hansel Annual Award in Religion and Philosophy given to a student who best demonstrates an understanding of one or more critical issues in the philosophy of religion. The awards wer presented to Hunnicutt by Dr. Hugo Freund and the honorable Paul Isaacs, respectively.

Hunnicutt was one of only 30 Union students to receive an award at this year's ceremony. The ceremony for the Honors Day Convocation took place at the Conway Boatman Chapel on Union campus Thursday, April 18 at 9:30 a.m.
