Darrin Greene Recognized at Union College's Honors Day Convocation

Darrin Greene of Ellijay was recently recognized at Union College's annual Honors Day Convocation.

Greene a senior at Union, won the Joe C. Hacker Computer Award given to a student showing interest and excellence in a computer programming course. Green was also the recepient of the Blackwell Political Science Award given to the senior with a major in history and/or a minor in political science who shows the highest academic excellence in political science. The awards were presented to Greene by Dr. Carolyn Payne and Dr. Linda Silber, respectively.

Greene was one of only 35 Union students to recieve an award at this year's ceremony. The ceremony for the Honors Day Convocation took place at the Conway Boatman Chapel on Union campus Thursday, April 12 at 9:30 a.m.
