Heidi Marsh Recognized at Union College's Honors Day Convocation

Heidi Marsh of Benham was recently recognized at Union College's annual Honors Day Convocation.

Marsh a senior at Union, won the Dr. Mahlon A. Miller President Emeritus Award given to the senior with the highest cumulative average based on totale hours earned at Union College, the Governor James D. Black Senior Award given to the senior with the highest scholastic average for the year based on total hours earned at Union College, and the Beverly P. and Mossie B. Wilson Memorial Award given to the English major with the highest cumulative grade point average whohas completed three full years of residence at Union College. The awards were presented to Marsh by Union's president Dr. Thomas McFarland and Dr. Jimmy Smith, respectively.

Marsh was one of only 35 Union students to recieve an award at this year's ceremony. The ceremony for the Honors Day Convocation took place at the Conway Boatman Chapel on Union campus Thursday, April 12 at 9:30 a.m.
