JoAnna Ezell Recognized for Theatrical Achievement at Union College

The Union College chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, a nation theater honors society, recently held its 26th Annual Awards Gala. JoAnna Ezell of Corbin was recognized at this gala.

Ezell, a Senior at Union College, received the award for Best Technician of the Year. Ezell won this award for all her technical work in both plays, "The Lion in Winter" and "Amateurs." It is her third year in a row winning this award.

The annual awards gala was held the evening of Saturday, April 14 in the Rector Little Theatre in Conway Boatman Chapel on Union College's campus. It coincided with a retirement celebration for Dr. Rebecca Pettys, director of the Union College Theatre Department.
