Kory Carter to play football at Union College

Kory Carter of Church Hill, Tenn. has committed to play football at Union College in Barbourville, Ky.

Carter, a senior at Volunteer High School, will be joining the Union Bulldogs football team for the 2012 season. He is expected to play running back for the Bulldogs. Head coach Tommy Reid said that he is excited about what Carter can bring to next season's team.

"I am pleased with this class of recruits," Reid said. "They're outstanding individual players, and I'm anxious to see what they collectively bring to next season's team."

The Union College football team competes in the West Division of the Mid-South Conference, against other collegiate teams, such as Georgetown College and University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, as well as several schools in eastern and southern states. It is an NAIA School.
