Michael Davenport Recognized at Union College's 2012 Co-Curricular Awards Program

Union College recently announced the Co-Curricular Awards for the 2011-12 academic year. Michael Davenport of Delaware was recognized.

Davenport, a Freshman at Union College, recieved the Rising Star Award. This award is given to the freshman or first-time transfer student that has shown the greatest potential in leadership and creative thinking.

The Co-Curricular Awards recognize the accomplishments of Union Students outside of the classroom. The awards program was April 25, at 9 p.m. in the Conway Boatman Chapel on Union's campus.

Founded in 1879, Union College is four-year liberal arts institution related to the United Methodist Church.
