Sirley Lopez Recognized at Union College's 2012 Co-Curricular Awards Program

Union College recently announced the Co-Curricular Awards for the 2011-12 academic year. Sirley Lopez of Bronx was recognized.

Lopez, a Freshman at Union College, recieved the Most Improved Softball Player. This award is given to the softball player who has shown the most improvement over the course of this season.

The Co-Curricular Awards recognize the accomplishments of Union Students outside of the classroom. The awards program was April 25, at 9 p.m. in the Conway Boatman Chapel on Union's campus.

Founded in 1879, Union College is four-year liberal arts institution related to the United Methodist Church.
